Welcome to Hearts Notes. These terms explain the basis on which you use our store and purchase our products. Please read them together with the product description, the license supplied with a digital purchase, and our linked policies.
Who we are
Hearts Notes is operated by VORVN LIMITED, also referred to as VORVN Ltd. Our business address is RM4 16/F, Ho King Commercial Centre, 2–16 Fa Yuen Street, Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR. You can reach our team through our contact form. This business address is not a return address unless we expressly provide it for your return.
Using our store
To make a purchase, you must be legally able to enter into the transaction, or act with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian where applicable. Provide accurate contact, delivery and order information, and use only a payment method you are authorized to use.
Do not misuse our store, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, transmit harmful code, infringe others' rights, or harass our team or customers.
Products, prices and orders
We offer Christian books, digital resources, personalized products, clothing and related goods. Your selected format and options determine what you are buying. A Digital PDF is not a physical book. Screen colors may differ slightly from a physical item, but this does not remove your rights if a product is not as described.
Review the price, currency, taxes and delivery charges shown at checkout before paying. Price changes do not change an order already confirmed. Payment is handled through our payment providers.
We send an order confirmation after you place your order. If a payment problem, suspected unauthorized transaction, material listing error or fulfillment issue prevents us from completing it, we will contact you. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the payment. Nothing here allows us to disregard mandatory consumer rights.
PDF licenses
A paid PDF license is a one-time purchase for the specific book or title shown on your order, not access to the whole catalogue. Where these tiers are offered, they cover:
- Standard: up to 2 people.
- Group: up to 10 people.
- Extended: up to 25 people.
- Community: up to 100 people.
You may read, print and share the purchased PDF or printed copies within the number of people covered by the license you purchased. The purchaser counts if they use the book. Each person counts once whether they use a digital copy, printed copy, or both. This supports personal, family, church, Bible-study and classroom use within the purchased limit. The people limit is not a download limit.
Do not resell the PDF or copies, publish the file for public download, share beyond your licensed group, or claim authorship. Recipients must keep further sharing within the same licensed group. Keep copyright notices and credits. Copyright is not transferred, and third-party rights remain with their owners.
The license document supplied with your purchase and your order identify the applicable tier and title. Specific written permissions supplied with a product take precedence over a general restriction in these terms. Contact us before extending use beyond 100 people or beyond the permission supplied. Buying a printed book alone does not grant a PDF license. Uses permitted by law remain unaffected.
Personalized products
Please review names, spelling, choices and dedication text before adding a personalized item to your cart. You must have permission to supply any material you ask us to use. An unavailable preview does not prevent ordering; the details submitted with your order are the personalization instructions.
Contact us promptly about changes. We will check whether production has started and what can still be changed. We remain responsible for addressing production errors and products that are faulty or not as described.
Delivery, returns and refunds
Our shipping policy explains digital delivery, physical shipping and tracking. Our returns and refunds policy explains requests, return instructions and remedies. Contact us before posting a return so it reaches the correct destination.
Our content
Our branding, designs and content are owned by VORVN LIMITED or used with permission. Except as allowed by your product license, written permission or applicable law, you may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit them. You may not use our protected content to train AI or machine-learning models without permission, except where applicable law permits that use.
Educational and devotional resources
Our resources are for education, reflection and encouragement. They do not replace professional medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. For health concerns or a crisis, seek help from a qualified professional or your local emergency service.
Privacy and customer accounts
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes information when you visit and buy from us, including to provide enhanced services that use interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify. Information may be shared with Shopify and service providers in other countries. Our privacy policy explains these uses and your choices, and links to the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify privacy portal.
Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled. Keep your email account and sign-in codes secure. Contact us if you believe an order or account has been used without permission.
Responsibility and applicable law
We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable rights concerning faulty goods, digital content, refunds or cancellation.
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings in courts available to them under applicable law. Please contact us first about a dispute so we can try to resolve it.
Updates and questions
We may update these terms for future use and purchases, showing the revision date here. An update does not retrospectively remove the rights or license purchased with an earlier order. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply where lawful.
